Haddonfield Japan Exchange will welcome students from Sendai International High School for two weeks from July 17 to July 31, 2026. We are actively seeking a few more host families. Our past families have loved hosting and showing their students around - many of them have kept in touch with each other to this day.
WHY HOST?

Many of our host families form lifelong bonds with their exchange students.
Haddonfield students who host get to share in excursions like Philadelphia and the Jersey Shore with their new Japanese friends.
Hosting students are given priority status in the travel applications the following year.
The positive experiences Japanese exchange students return with reaffirm Sendai International School’s commitment to our reciprocal exchange for future Haddonfield students.
ELIGIBILITY
ELIGIBILITY
Family must have at least one child in high school in 2026 and reside in Haddonfield.
Students in between the summer of 8th and 9th grade are eligible.
RESPONSIBILITIES
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide a bed, meals, and transportation to and from the Haddonfield Memorial High School and HJE activities.
